# ResumeMetric

> Privacy-first, 100% client-side AI tool that scores resumes against target job descriptions for ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility — free, truly unlimited, and requires no registration or account.

ResumeMetric parses resumes entirely inside the user's browser using WebAssembly (PDF.js for PDFs, Mammoth.js for DOCX). Raw resume files are never uploaded or stored — only redacted text snippets (with emails and phone numbers stripped) are sent for AI-powered match analysis. The tool calculates a 0–100% compatibility score based on keyword relevance, technical skills alignment, formatting parseability, section headings, and quantified metrics. It supports global regional parsing architectures (Europass, German Tabular Lebenslauf, Japanese Rirekisho, South Korean Iryeokseo, US Federal USAJOBS, UK CV Standard) via an asynchronous low-memory Web Worker fingerprinting engine (NpuLiteEngine) with CJK font support. It includes a client-side NLP analysis engine, an AI cover letter generator, a Power Edit live rescan panel, a PDF audit report export, and a suite of free career-planning calculators.
